    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I was excited for a tough dog bed that my dog wouldn't destroy with her scratching as she beds down, but she slept on the hard floor rather than on this bed. I thought it might have been due to the fabric not being soft so I covered it with a blanket. She still slept on the floor. The bed also puffs up with air so I think it's difficult to lay on and squish the air out. Regardless she wouldn't use it so I'm going to return it.

    I like this bed well enough, was a good price for the size and external fabric. However, I can tell my dog does not like it all that well. The bed is very stiff and noisy on the outside(sounds like plastic grocery bags when she moves), requiring a long time to "break in". Also, the filling needs adjustment fairly frequently, though that is not a big deal.

    I think the beds are very durable, but in trying to make them long lasting they've created a loud and uncomfortable bed. Our dogs won't sleep on them, choosing the hardwood floor instead.

    This is our second round of these dog beds; and, yes, they are almost indestructable. We have 3 german Shorthairs, one of whom constantly"rearranges" hi bed, yet they last for years. Also a great value; other comperable beds cost twice as much.
