This review is for the plain leather option. My first impressions were good: nice leather, decent construction. A good casual option. But after a few weeks, a thread appeared from between the two pieces of leather that constitute the main compartment. I snipped it off and didn't think too much of it as the edges of the wallet were still pretty much glued together. Over the course of the last couple of months, the entire edge has started to fray noticeably and the edge has come unglued. Today on the train I took a good look at its embarrassing state and decided to take advantage of STP's excellent return policy.
I mostly carry this case in a pocket in my work bag and it only has a work ID, a credit card, and a Metro card in it. I alternate cases depending on my clothing that day, so this case has been handled gingerly. Perhaps I've been dealt the lemon in the batch.
