They are quite warm, and extremely form fitting. It's almost like wearing Neoprene! But they're actually quite comfortable, if you don't mind the "compression" feel. I am 5'4", about 125" and ordered a M, which is the right size, although I tend to like my clothes a little looser. A Large might be roomier in the thighs and hips but would undoubtedly be too large in the waist, which is always my problem. I have worn these to yoga, and they really move with you; they don't bind in any way. When I first put them on, I didn't think I would keep them, but I have since changed my mind. For someone with a slimmer build, they'll likely be very comfortable.

I especially like the foldover waistband, which is not bulky at all. The leg fabric is fairly thick with a sturdy stretch, almost like compression pants but way more comfortable and attractive. The size runs pretty true I think, the medium was perfect for me and I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs.
