Admit it, there just isn't much made in America anymore. This knife is. That was one reason I bought two for my twin boys when they reach 16 (6 years from now). The other is, when I held it in my hands, and opened the blade, and read the history of the steel...all the more a special gift to give them on their special day. I could see why the MSRP was $140, but THANK YOU STP for the price discounts! (third and final reason for buying it).

looks like a well made knife but the blade is absolutely gouged and also looks like someone sanded down the middle. The Damascus does not look like photo. these should be listed as seconds. returning immediately

This is a pocket knife for light work and is not a tool. The Damascus blade enhances its look and after several sharpenings will hold its edge longer over time. The red on the stag handle may be natural to the horn used but detracts from the overall look. Believe the knife maker should have gone with a one color stag handle.

Overall, the knife is well made and the stiffness of the locking mechanism may respond a light application of a penetrating oil.
    • Best Uses: Utility Pocket Knife
    • Cons: Lock Mechanism Is Stiff, Red Stag Grip Not Natural
    • Pros: Beautifully Made, Right Size Pocket Knife, Unusual Damascus Blade, Very sharp
