“I bought this dress for my 17 year old niece and am giving it to her for her birthday. Style-wise, I think it will work for her. It has a retro/hippie feel to it and the colors and patterns are appealing. The fabric has a stiff, papery feel to it and is very thin. I hope that feel will wash out of it because when I tried the dress on it had a scratchy feel despite being 100 percent cotton. Also, as far as fit is concerned, the bust seems small and high. I'm hoping that is because it is cut for someone younger than me.”
