    I hemmed and hawed when I tried on this dress. It fit well and was comfortable but ultimately I decided that the pattern and colors were too dull for me and too different from what I usually wear. As other reviewers mentioned I would have taken the bauble off the belt had I kept the dress. I have very small shoulders and usually wear a size 4 dress. The extra small did not slide off my shoulders so I would recommend ordering a size smaller if your have narrow shoulders.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    the dress is fully lined because the fabric is so thin, but the lining makes for too much fabric and the dress looks "bulgy". I'm a very athletic size 6 and this dress made me look like a couch potato size 10. I'm taking it to the tailor today to see if I can trim down some of the fabric. Overall, a pretty dress but prepare to have some alterations done to make it flattering.

    I ordered this dress to wear to a Tea Party, the dress is beautiful but it was just too big. I am 5'2" and a 8/10(M) in pants and a 4/6(S) in blouses, the dress was too long and would not stay on my shoulders. I ultimately had to buy another dress for the occasion but because the dress in so pretty I am going to give it as a gift to a friend.

    Such a beautiful dress - wish it fit. I'm a size 6, and the medium (noted 6-8) was way too big - I was unable to try the small because they were sold out. THe cotton is very soft and drapey.
