Bed Stu Distressed Leather Weld Belt (For Women)

I love the shape of this belt buckle but it's HUGE. I'm too short to pull this off. Also, the red color is interesting but the distressed effect doesn't look natural. In general, I love the Bed Stu brand, but this item isn't a favorite.

You don't see this belt coming and going. Truly unique in color and design. Love the distress red leather and totally mad for the large buckle. It's a statement piece and I get compliments galore.

This is a very unusual looking belt as it is. I would describe the finish as "patterns of distress" because it is very regular, and not really like agedness. I "improved" it (to my taste) by rubbing a dark polish on it, then a red leather cream, then getting it wet and wearing it to dry, which makes the leather stretch and conform to you. Otherwise it's stiff. I like the effect, the pattern is softened and the color more even. This makes it look more used and personal, also makes the buckle more interesting.

Interesting-looking belt but the buckle is so big that it didn't fit between the two front belt loops on my jeans! If you are petite, beware that this piece may not work for you. Too bad I had to send it back.

This is a really fun belt. The leather is very stiff and can be uncomfortable riding on my hip bones. It's been a long time since I've bought a new belt, I'm hoping it eventually breaks in. The belt looks exactly like the photo, it's a lot of fun to wear!
