  • Nice, but a bit too pricey...

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    First time buying this brand--seemed expensive, but the positive reviews convinced me to give these a try...I ordered a size up to make sure of a comfy fit and allow for about 3% shrinking (the amount of shrinkage expected per company's web-site) but they were not as roomy as I expected so I was worried they wouldn't fit after washing. I washed in cold water on the gentle cycle and line dried, and that worked out fine (thank goodness) with almost no shrinking, no pilling or fading, still look nice, fit well. Some of the reviewers felt that the tops were disproportionately large in comparison to the bottoms; that was not the case for me, but I am relatively full-figured. I bought the pewter 'fleur de lis' and the raspberry 'abbey road' and I really like the patterns, plus these are of nice quality which I am sure will last for a long time. I bought these at STP's sale price--and I thought that was a lot of money for flannel pjs! I just couldn't believe the retail price!!! I simply cannot justify paying the normal retail price, or even STP's regular price--I would probably only buy them again at STP's sale price, and even then it wouldn't be an everyday purchase, but an occasional splurge or as a gift.

    This is my 4th pair of behead pjs over 10 years. They wear very well, are well made, warm and look nicer than your average flannel pj's. My husband thinks I look really cute in them too!

    This is my second pair of bedhead pjs. I like this pair but they were much larger than the other pair I bought from STP. The other pair (cotton knit, short sleeve, elastic empire waist) barely fit on top, where these on the otherhand were almost too big. If they had these in XS, I would have returned them for that size.
