The sleeves are dolman style, and there is more fabric at the armholes...just the style. I love the warm red...may not be for everyone, but there are those of us who look best in warm reds rather than blue-reds. I cannot speak to the durability as I only recently purchased this. Nice value so far.

I probably would have sent it back, but I took it on a trip after just holding it up to my body and estimating it was OK. It wasn't, but I had to wear something during the trip. Pity -- I really would have sent it back if I hadn't been so short on time before the trip. Also, the red is orange-ish, and not to my taste. Very short arm length, but huge armholes. Looks pretty awkward, so I'll just wear it under a cardigan, if I can get the mass of armhole material squished in. The picture is extremely misleading on the arm length -- fits more like a 3/4 arm length. I would never, ever advise anyone to buy this sweater.
