2nds. Quite possibly Bell Canoe's most popular model for flatwater, the Northwind Royalex canoe with vinyl rigging is highly maneuverable and performs well in currents and choppy water. Well-balanced design handles wind and waves on large lakes while remaining maneuverable enough to take on moderately deep rivers.
Boat may come with minor cosmetic blemishes from shipping, not unlike those that will be incurred on the first outing. To ensure your satisfaction, please inspect upon arrival and notify Sierra Trading Post on delivery date of any problems. Additional Shipping Charge: $125. Must ship via truck within the continental U.S. only. Cannot be applied to special shipping offers.

Pros:

Cons:
Heavy
Best Uses:
Flat Waters, Rivers
Describe Yourself:
Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Boat has nice "glide" also very stable and quite. A little heavy but tracks nicely. I'm 5'9" and have been taking it out solo, kneeling in the center position (aft of center). Boat moves suprisingly well with only one paddler. With two it moves quickly. I'm very impressed, only down side is it's not a featherweight, but won't easily get damaged like the lightweights. Overall, nice boat.

Nice relatively short canoe. Nice amount of rocker front and rear makes it maneuverable, but still tracks well. Ships water in rapids more easily than expected. Not a laker, but still glides fine.
