Since then I was expetrimenting with different brands and thikness. These socks are good for milder weather,when it's not too cold.
I wear size 9 shoes. I ordered these socks in 9-11, I think they would be better in smaller size. Getting too lose on the feet by the end of the day. -

And 1 pair I didn't even get a chance to put on, because both socks came out of that first wash with their elastic coming out. The red, I'm afraid, failed me immediately.
