“A fashionable woolen anklet and not a synthetic is which is why I purchased this particular sock. Unfortanately it is is not a true medium weight. I am not wanting to buy a Hicking Sock which are too thick This one just a bit too loosly woven and not dense enough to provide any noticable level of foot comfort or warmth. Matter of fact I though they were a little cold. They are so attractive I was rather dissappointed. They are good enough for casual wear in shoes that accept a thinner sock so they are acceptable. I will make good use of them even though I think they are too skimpy on the wool. I wear them in my lace up shoe boots mostly out and about. I will still look for a little heavier to suit myself. This may be fine someone else. Wool anklets are hard to find these days.”
