Beretta 20-Gauge Shotgun Cleaning Kit - 4-Piece

True to another's comment, the box is very thin and breaks easily. [...] That aside, the bigger problem is the brass connector caps that hold the rod pieces together are not fully secured and wobble quite a bit, making for a very flimsy rod. This does not resemble any of the quality trademarks I would expect from Beretta. I have another style field kit from Beretta which does not have any of these issues, though it is not made of wood either. I returned this kit.

The rod is good, and the brushes are excellent, and the price was fantastic. But the black plastic kit box was shattered to bits upon arrival, even though the cardboard box it was shipped in was in good shape and had not been crushed. The kit box is far too flimsy to carry in the field. Aside from the box, this is a very good kit.

The kit contains good quality components. The rod screws up tight and is a good length. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the rod, when fully assembled is not perfectly straight. This doesn't effect it's function, but it reminds me of a slightly warped pool cue when you roll it on a flat table. The the wire cleaning brush alone usually retails for the price of this entire kit. I bought two.
