    Value raingear. Gore Tex is (currently) a value at this pricing. This coat is a packable quality product for part time use. The hood zipper cover should have been cut longer to keep rain out of the zipper. I have yet to get in a soaking, humid storm, but in periodic rain it has done it's job.

    This is a great jacket. I just wrote this review to tell people that they are advertising it as AP (All Purpose) camo color. It's not. It's Max 1, another camo color. This caused me some problems when I ordered the matching AP camo pants on [@] and they didn't match.I've called Sierra Trading Post to let them know it's the wrong color but they haven't changed it online.Enjoy...

    I love this thing in the Montana wind. I've been out twice with only a long sleeve T-shirt underneath, and that has been just fine in 50 degree temps with wind. I started to sweat in this coat and cooled off by unzipping it as opposed to it "breathing" that heat/moisture out. The zipper is a bit stiff at first, and I haven't had the opportunity to us this in rain. Any water spilled on the coat hasn't penetrated yet though.

    I am disappointed as stealth was supposed to be a characteristic of this jacket. Movement is audible. Maybe it will be quieter once it has been washed? Otherwise, this is a nice light weight waterproof jacket.
