I have wanted a Crocodile Belt for a long time but did not want to pay hundreds for it. This belt is very well made and the buckle is serviceable and looks fine. I would have given it a 5 if the buckle was just a bit better, but it is OK and I don't intend to replace it. I wear a size 44 belt so I didn't have to shorten it. It was exactly the same length as other size 44 belts I own. It was perfect out of the box. I wear it when I want to dress up a bit. For example, I wore it to the ballet.

Great value, polished finish croc belt. Well made, i like the 'one size, cut to fit.' Even the buckle not too bad. i have had to send back other bargain belts either because they were wrong size or just too cheaply made. This belt has nice weight, finish and you size it yourself. Great deal.

Belt uses very high quality crocodile skins, but came with a buckle that had 1/4" gaps on either side. Folks at Sierra tried to find another, but were unable to help. Belt itself was worth keeping so I'm hunting for another buckle that fits and looks better.It's a matte crocodile belt, I'd use with a suit, blazer, or even with good looking jeans. A classic, and with the right buckle, outstanding.

BELT OK BUT BUCKLE MIS-SIZED AND OF POOR QUALITY.

I found the belt to have a slightly more matte finish than usual for alligator. This was easily cured with a product from a local leather supply store (which I had on hand for watch straps that have seen some use). Now it has a hand finished gloss finish that is excellent.

It had a rather dull finish, which is fine,but I prefer slightly more gloss, so I applied a finish and it looks just as I had wanted.
