This jacket is exactly what I have been looking for. Very lightweight, waterproof, pit-zips, bright color and stylish. The only problem is the sizing. I ordered up one size because of reading reviews. But, because I get cold easily, I wanted to be able to wear a light fleece underneath the jacket. One size up was not enough to do that. I exchanged for yet another size up and it fits perfectly now. The exchange could NOT have been easier. Sierra Trading Post has what I have experienced as the best customer service in on-line ordering.

Best fit for my body, 180 cm tall, 70kg weight. Like this 2.5 layer is useful in the spring backcountry tour.

The jacket is 100% nylon, very thin and lightweight. It keeps the heat in very well when you’re underway in conditions around the 5° mark and is completely waterproof. In windy conditions you might feel some drag due to the loose fit and the fact it’s made of the same material as some sails. There’s nothing in the way of lining, unless you count an extra bit of material for the two sizeable pockets, so there’s nothing to fend off the chills on a cold start.
