I have more than a few pairs of Berle shorts and these are not Berle. The tags and labels are slightly different (less sophisticated), and the inside of the pants aren't finished as nicely as all the ones I have. Every pair of Berle shorts I've ever bought has been very true to size, but these were larger, both in the waist and in the length. My guess is these are knock-offs, maybe even made in the same factory in Mexico that makes them for Berle. The embroidery work is the same as Berle, however. While the price is tempting, especially as compared with real Berle shorts, these aren't the real deal. I ended up returning them.
