    Cons:
    Audio didn't work, Poor Fit
    Describe Yourself:
    Casual/ Recreational
    Sizing:
    Feels full size too small
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The audio was a great idea BUT the speakers over the ears make the helmet sit too high on my head - looked goofy. The audio wouldn't work with the cable provided. I found a cable of my own that would work, but it wasn't long enough and didn't have any ability to control the volume - so back it went to Sierra.

I purchased this helmet (XS) for my 8-year-old daughter, and it fits her normal-sized child's head quite well. It is attractively retro-stylish and functional, and she's willing to wear it without complaint, so it must also be fairly comfortable. We haven't tried the audio component and are unlikely to do so; fundamentally, the price was great and the audio wasn't a deciding factor (if it had cost extra, we wouldn't have made the purchase). For our purposes, this helmet was a good buy, and we'll use it well. I would not, however, recommend paying anything close to retail when comparing this product to what is out there. In a market where helmets are often very adjustable, this one is at the bottom of the pack. You can adjust the chin strap to tighten it down, but there are no ratcheting-gizmos to ensure it hugs the head securely all the way around. The chin strap is a soft webbing material, and is reasonably comfortable against the the skin, but there isn't any padding on it and the loose end of the strap flaps around annoyingly and uncontrollably (and snags on the velcro of my daughter's jacket). The ventilation is not adjustable. We bought it for safety, and the fact that it has an aesthetic charm is a bonus. It's comfortable enough. But I'd only recommend it with a list of caveats.
