I will be using this helmet for bicycling to extend my photography range. Limited with time, I need to get to scenic vistas with my camera equipment and want protection from falls, collisions and falling objects. And this helmet looks good too.
Reviewed by Young adult biker from Melbourne, Australia on Sunday, June 23, 2013I've worn these Bern helmets for years and think the protection and secure fit is better.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by None from Earth on Thursday, February 21, 2013Lucky I got the XL. Helmet runs small.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mamma Bear from Crescent City, CA on Tuesday, February 19, 2013Size Larege fits a 22.5 inch head circumference perfectly. This was a gift for my daughter who loves skateboarding. She loved the Squid grey with cool wing design on back. She didn't want a helmet with a visor, but we found that with a seem-ripper (or careful snipping with small scissors), you can easily remove the visor stitching without harming the stitching of the rest of the cushioning system. Very light and comfortable helmet. Looks great on, too.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Stuberman from Palo Alto, CA on Monday, January 28, 2013Nicely built helmet that is good where superior protection is required. Appropriate for casual riding where cars are in the equation. Unfortunately, it is rather on the heavy side for more vigorous riding uses.

Question “I have 5 Bern Helmets in cart but reviewing (reviews) many say either smaller than actual size but love the Helmet or either not true to size and then true to size! Why is it that no one says what Size they bought? It would help to say the Size so one can reply if their review was Helpful or Not Helpful|thank u”
Answer If you hover over the "Sizes Available" with your mouse, a tap will appear and provide you with the correct numeric sizing. I hope this helps.
Answer Unfortunately Bern does not make a liner to wear under this helmet. To the best of my knowledge any cycling cap or beanie would work well as a liner for the Bern Brentwood Cycling Helmet.
