fit was very high on the head- XL for a 12 year old. without the insert might have worked, but with the winter insulation part, far too small.

Nice helmet. Runs small, I think due to thick liner for snow sports. Liner is removable and helmet can be used for other sports/activities. Nice value in that it is "multi-sport". Lots of vents, easy clasp to get on/off.

Bought this for my 10 year old son to use snowboarding. The real clincher for buying this helmet was that it is an all season helmet, so he can use it to ride his bike, skateboard, or take to the snow covered hills. Liked the ease of use of the air vents, however they are not perfectly sealed when closed. There were some minuscule gaps, but unless you are out in a downpour, should have no effect on the user. His 23 year old sister tried to talk him into trading his helmet for her old Smith helmet, so style must have appealed to both age groups. He loves his new helmet, so that's what matters.

I've been looking for a while for a helmet, and finally this helmet which has a great fit. The helmet it's not adjustable but it's size it's true to measurements. The vents open and close which it's great to cool down when needed while still being warm.

Great for cold weather but without the winter lining it is a little loose on the head. Would consider buying a smaller size for summer use.
