Bern Macon Hard Hat with Winter Visor Kit

Good helmet. The liner attaches with velcro to the inside.

The other reviews are accurate and fair. The helmet fits fine WITHOUT the visor, which is great because the visor won't actually attach to the helmet in any way. (More on that later.) If you just want a helmet, this is the deal for you! If you want to wear the helmet over a beanie or something, I suggest getting the next size up. The visor (which is JUST a visor, not an entire beanie - think circle of fabric with the entire center cut out) has snaps and Velcro that you assume would be used to attach to other snaps and Velcro within the helmet. Nope. No such counterparts exist. If you try to Velcro the visor attachment to the foam of the helmet, it'll stay in place... until you put the helmet on your head. I'm sure crafty people could somehow rig this properly. The helmet does come with a bag and a skullcap, though, so that's pretty cool. A sheet of stickers is included, too.

bern products never let you down with style and protection. i own two bern helmets love them both.

The helmet overall is nice however I still have not figured out how to put in the winter visor kit. It seems to be missing a snap. The helmet itself is exactly what I was expecting.

There ars no snaps for the snow liner. It will only stay by the use of velcro. Kind of a bummer but it will work.

Good helmet for my money. I've only used it twice but it was comfortable, with or without a beanie. I don't know that I'll use the liner/etc. -- they're a little hard to adjust.
