    My daughter wore hers for the first time playing outside in the snow last week. DIdn't complain at all. It has a place to snap goggles but we haven't tried it yet. Love the furry cap and the visor!

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I purchased this as a skiing helmet for my daughter. However, this helmet is not designed for winter use. Unlike the description, it does not come with an insulated ear-covering liner for winter sports. The box itself says "skate/bike" even though it is indeed the Bern Nina Helmet.

    This is the first helmet my daughter owns, at 2 years old. My worry was that she wouldn't like wearing it and the minute I put it on her, she has not wanted to take it off. It is comfortable and lightweight. Its usage is limitless. I hate pink and this pink isn't too girly, actually goes with a lot of her things. It is a little loose but I knew that b/c their measurements were accurate. She will grow into it when she does more adventurous things. The straps were a little difficult to adjust, but it could be b/c it is a little too large for her head size at the moment. Love the little brim insert to block sun too. I am a very happy parent.

    Couldn't find a better all around helmet for my overly active 6 year old. And she thought the PINK was really COOL. Will be used as a spare SNOW helmet, and for all casual wheeled sports (board, skate, etc.)..... Will have her wear her higher quality bike helmet for mountain biking, which is lighter, adjusts for a snugger fit, and has more ventilation. But for everything else, this is the helmet she grabs on the way out the door (and all her friends want one, just like it).
