Bernardo Faux Leather Zip Jacket (For Women)

This is a nice jacket. I knew it would be nice because I already have a Bernardo coat. I am looking forward to wearing this jacket this winter. I was pleasantly surprised because I ordered the Petite medium size (that was all that was available)- usually I wear regular length clothing... and the length of the sleeves and the jacket was just fine. I am 5'6" and 120 lbs just to give you an idea of the size.

This is a soft, heavy polyester fake leather jacket. It could be fitted a little better, but it's very good for the price. The medium is plenty big (I'm 5'8", 135 #). My only complaint is the wool "fur" hood. It's not quite fur, which is great; but were it not for it, the jacket would be "vegan" and my animal rights friends would appreciate it. Why decorate an otherwise totally synthetic jacket with an animal product? I unzipped the hood (fortunately it's removable) and don't wear it because I dislike the look; the jacket looks sleeker and better without it. So it's just kind of a waste. The fleece lining does shed, especially at first, but it's fine after a few uses.

I love this jacket, the fur looks so real, jacket looks exspensive and classy, distressed leather look which looks very real. This jacket is very comfortable and stylish, can wear for many different occassions.I normally wear a med but in this jacket from reading reviews I ordered large, fits perfect except the sleeves were long and I just rolled them up and they look great,not bulky. The jacket is very warm too,the price, well hard to believe. I don't think anyone in my area will have one like it, everyone is going to think I purchased it at a very exclusive clothing store. Cute jacket. Looks good with or without hood. Doesn't look 'fake'.

The first thing I did when I opened the package was gasp. Then I went to smell it, and wondered where that leather smell was before I remembered it's fake! That's how real this looks and even feels. As for the "fur" I hope nobody throws paint on me. I am a true small but I did feel it was a little small across the chest. Then again I'm fairly big for a small-framed woman and have had this problem with some other clothes as well. So I went for the medium so that I don't have to limit myself to only thin sweaters. I am SO HAPPY with this jacket, and it's really quite warm as well. What a deal, don't think, just buy.

I wear this jacket every single day and I absolutely love it. It fits great and I've never had a jacket so warm and cozy. My only complaint is that when you take this jacket off you will need one of those sticky rollers to clean your shirt off from all the inside fuzzy lint that sticks to you. I personally think its a compromise I'm willing to make. Every thing else about this jacket is awesome and I could not ask for anything better. It's so soft and cozy to the touch and warm beyond belief inside.

The faux leather looks good as does the faux shearling lining. But the lining sheds. I plan to put it in the dryer on air to see how much of the shedding goes away. I hope this works.

I was curious how the faux leather would look and feel. Most people have thought it was real. The surface has a rather broken-in leather look. It was a perfect fit on me, looks great, and I've had numerous compliments.
