This beret is so cute. I wish I had bought it in more colors. Note: it doesn't lay/wear on your head exactly like it looks in the photo (the photo makes it look very stiff, which is not the case).

Very cute hat, But it is too large for my head. I'm 5'5" 105 lbs, and it looks like A full size too big. Very cute tho' if fit properly.

I really liked the look of this on the website, but...either the hat is sized on the small side, or I have an unusually big head! I can't even get it to sit firmly on my head without some determined tugging (at which point it feels like it's cutting my circulation off).There's very little stretch / give to the fabric, so don't count on there being much wiggle room for the fit.[...] I guess I'll be looking for some small-headed person to give it to...

Fun and easy to wear. Playful! the trim that gives it texture could be neater. I had to trim a few straggly pieces off.

This was a nice and well-made attractive hat, as the other reviews suggest. However it seemed to run very small for a beret. It was tight and just perched on the top of my head. For people with small heads, okay. Medium to large sized female heads may not work.

I have been mulling over this hat for quite some time...when a discount offer presented itself I decided to go for it. Upon arrival I noticed that the workmanship was a bit sloppier than online images seem to represent. The knots and nubs are expected, but the texture is also fuzzy, like it had been handled. As if laundered, but not. The ornamentation is 'wiry' - that's the best way to describe the woolen texture. That bothered me slightly but not enough to send the cap back. I'll live with it. It's otherwise cool. Just wish the fuzz factor wasn't so noticeable. And even better would be to use raw/recycled silk instead. The 'headband' fit is a bit generous, but I have that problem with all OS products; my fine hair and apparently small head make everything fit a bit looser than I'd like. However, this too can be dealt with. The hat can be moderately altered or simply worn at an angle. It sits on the head well and will take either a soft scrunch or stand without looking odd. Better than many beret in that respect. Proportion is spot-on. I bought the black after considering the leopard...still considering the leopard...and the gray and red. Red seems the most striking online. Hmmmn.

This hat is adorable but you need to have a very small head to wear it. I wear L to XL in hats and I thought I would give this a try - it was too small and it does not give very much. I had to return it.
