I am small chested, 36A, and the top in a medium just fits me. It is actually rather tight, which is very unusual, as I almost never have that problem. If you wear a B or C cup, I do not believe you would be able to wear this in a medium. I usually wear pajamas in a small but read the other reviews and opted for the medium, as people said they ran small. I am glad I got the medium, as it fits like a small usually fits me. Maybe if you wear a 32 C or 34 B cup, then you could wear the medium, but you will probably not have much coverage. I really like these, but be careful with the sizing.

I'm a 34C. I would've exchanged for a large, but could tell the bottoms would be too big. Good for an A or small B cup woman.

The rayon fabric is only transparent if it is stretched; otherwise it is opaque. I bought a small, but traded it for a medium because the already skimpy top, was TOO skimpy in the small. I am a 34C and the medium provides bare minimum coverage. Do not even consider this set if you are more full-breasted. It would be the ideal sexy pajama for small breasted women. The bottoms were fine for me in either size, just a little looser in the medium. Very pretty camisole if it fits right!
