Big Agnes Round Mountain Rolling Duffel Bag - Waterproof, Medium

When my son did the bathtub test, water came in where the handle are attached to the bag. He will try to do something to waterproof that area.

This bag has a lot of potential, but they skimped in a few extremely key areas. First off, it uses the wimpiest zipper I have ever seen on a piece of luggage. A serious travel duffel needs the heaviest coil zipper made. The zipper is also just a simple straight zipper, and this makes packing the bag a pain as the top of the bag wants to close all the time as you load it. It also uses some pretty undersized rivets to hold the bag to the wheeled frame, and the rivets do not use anything to distribute the load over the material. On the first trip, the material started to pull free from the rivets. I'm sorry, but this bag is all show and no go.

have taken this bag on three trips now: diving, skiing, and camping. it IS pretty darn waterproof - many times soaked, never a drop inside. the zipper is somewhat 'sticky', but still works. a little heavier than your avg duffel, but not much. I love this thing - it's become my preffered travel rolling duffel due to waterproof feature. a plus: you can FIND the thing on the luggage belt :)

I bought this hoping that my clothes stays dry and that the bag last a year or two.
