Big Sky Carvers Bear Bench

This bear table is really cute and I was not disappointed by the design. However it is imported from China and the quality control is lacking. For example, The table top had a crack running down the center that was simply reglued rather than replaced. Probably does not effect functionality but it detracts from its looks. Also fit and finish is not great making it harder to assemble. If the craftsmanship quality had been there I would have given it 5 stars. If I had paid full list price I would have returned it.

This was an impulse buy - thought it would be cute in the family room. Look at the large image picture as that is pretty accurate. The insides of the legs are not finished, there really isn't much carving - it's black spray paint for detail, the screw holes do not have plugs. It's cute, but overall I'm glad I did not pay full price or even the STP full price - [...] I still think I may have paid too much for it.

Plan on using this as a side table in Living area -fits perfectly in our rustic,lodge decor. A whimsical addition --would also work nicely in a child's room.
