    These were just stained pieces of pine, nothing on either side to help keep them from slipping on hard surfaces. The best thing about them was the holder.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I was lead to believe by picture and previous Big Sky products that the design was also on the coasters, it is not. The actual coasters are plain, dull wood and not attractive at all.

    Liked the moose on the coaster holder and that is why I bought them. The coasters are wood and seem ok but since no feet on coasters (just the wood) I am skeptical they might absorb liquid and leave a spot on wood furniture. Do not know this for sure yet.
