Called, discussed, got the requisite apology, and was told the replacements would be 'hand picked.' Sent order #1 back, received order #2, both pairs were torn and frayed along the waistband and pockets. STP staff was very nice, but I have learned that you really take your chances with ordering because there is so much inconsistency in sizing, quality, and materials. As long as we (including me) want something for less, we will continue to take a chance.

Called, received the obligatory apology and was assured the replacements would be 'hand-picked.' Replacements arrive; BOTH pairs have the same fraying and holes in the waistband. They looked like old used pants. Customer service was fine; STP is known for hit and miss re: quality and fit - sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. If you want something for less, you take your chances. "Expertly tailored...for a gently worn look." I'm still laughing....

I've paid full price and felt it was worthwhile, but I certainly appreciate a bargain. These are cut and constructed like the good military surplus khakis I bought when I was in college 35 years ago. Buying high quality American-made clothes is a rare pleasure these days.
