This pants are cut very well. I'm a big guy, 42" waist, and the M3 trim cut works fine for me. In fact, the lower rise and trimmer legs helped the pant look more tailored, rather than the look you usually get on pant with a big waist but an average inseam. 43/30s often look like MC Hammer pants on me, but not these! If the chamois fabric (which was very nice) had been lighter, I'd have kept them.

M3 is my favorite fit. Chamois is my favorite fabric in the Bill's line. I was really looking forward to receiving this Lemon color pair of pants. Tried it on and all good until I looked into the mirror: I could see all the pockets and the stripes in my shirt. Fabric too thin/transparent for me! With darker colors this is not a problem. So sorry that this occurred but cannot live with "see through" pants!
Sent them back for a refund.

Great color! Awesome fabric and legendary Bill's construction. How can you go wrong? Buy 'em if they have your size, you wont' regret it. You will need to be true to yourself with the sizing of M3 model. If you're a marginal 35, don't expect to fit into a 34 unless you're a very fit person (that means you're in the gym 3x a week).

Based on reviews for this and some of the other Bill's M3 pants I bought it thinking I was getting a sleek modern cut pant. I also ordered a size up since people said they fit so tight. I wish I had just ordered my regular size. These pants don't really have a low rise nor are they tight in the leg or seat. They're just plain old chinos like everybody else makes. I'm keeping them because the lime color is really nice, but I'm disappointed that I was misled by all the other reviewers who seem to think these pants are for avant garde hipsters. They're not.
