Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. An ideal chino
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jacob the Clotheshorse from Kansas City, MO on Wednesday, November 16, 2011
Bill's M3 fit is a perfect khaki. I've seen some other reviewers say that they find the sizing of these too slim or the rise too short. I do not think that's the case at all. They're slim through the leg and made to sit directly above the hips. But if you're used to buying chinos at the mall, you may have fallen for vanity sizing. Measure your waist and buy to the number. You'll look great, and the fit will flatter you.

The materials in Bill's products are top-notch, and the color and hand are solid. I'd put these up against chinos that cost twice as much.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice pants, but....

Not true to size - will have to return.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. What's all this about slim-cut and low-riding?
Reviewed by UWSEd from NYC on Friday, June 21, 2013
After reading all of the reviews that talked about how slim-cut and low-riding the M3 for is, I ordered a size larger than usual. I could put them on and take them off without undoing the button! And, believe me, I'm no "skinny jean" customer. I then ordered my usual size, and while they were a LITTLE tighter, they weren't tight enough - or low enough! - to justify the fuss.

Nobody mentioned wrinkling. They wrinklle while still on the hanger if you look at them for too long.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Bills pants

These are my last pair of pants. Comfortable like a second layer of skin that looks better than my birthday suit dressed up with shirt and tie or whatever flips your flute.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great pants, just wrong color

The first pair of this particular model were a bit tight, so I sent them back asking for a replacement of the same color (as initially ordered) or another (Navy, I believe). What was sent to me was the larger size as requested, but the identical color as another pair I had purchased in my first order. So I have two pairs of Bill's Khakis of the same color, one pleated and one flat front. I'd prefer them to be different colors, but infer that you may not have them in a different color. (I haven't ahd the replacement pair cuffed, trying to figure out if it's worth the effort to ask for another replacement when you seem not to have the colors I would prefer. I don't expect this review to be posted, but would appreciate a reply....

About Bills Khakis

Bills Khakis don't make pants. They make Khakis... the original WWII era, comfortable, long-wearing khakis like our fathers and grandfathers wore. A phenomenon derived from the dust-colored uniforms introduced in India during the 1880's, khakis have evolved into modern man's wardrobe staple. But not all are created equal. The owner of Bills Khakis was a college student when he found a substantial pair of khakis in an Army surplus store and realized how inferior his "modern" khakis were. When his search for a reliable supplier of the vintage model proved fruitless, he did what any enterprising young man would do – he started a company to make his own. And thus it was that Bills Khakis were born. Their slogan says it all… Bills Khakis are made better by not changing a thing.
