I really really wanted these to work,, I have always wanted to wear Birkenstock. After reading all the reviews, decided to try them. First let me say, I have always had trouble with Euro sizes, and I was hoping these would be different, but they weren't. That being said, IF they would have fit correctly, I think they would have been very comfy! The soft footbed was wonderful, but my toes hit the front,(I am a true 7.5) so I tried size 38 Narrow,,, once again, from the reviews, everyone said medium width on all other shoes, Narrow width in Birkenstock. Don't believe everything you read. I loved the bright green color and the soft wool and the soft footbed,,, they just didn't fit me correctly.
Question
“Is this specific shoe designed for a narrow foot? Is there another 'standard' size that is just not currently available? The description say nothing about being narrow until I get to the checkout page. Thanks much-Nate”

Answer
This shoe was available in narrow and medium widths. We at this time have only the narrows in stock.|Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered.|Unfortunately we are currently out of this item, but we suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items. You can also access the "New Items" section of our website at anytime. Question
“I wear a 'normal' D width. Will the narrow work for me?”

Answer
I am afraid that the narrow is going to be too tight.

Ran,|you letter made me laugh! But, unfortunately I would not recommend ordering a narrow pair of shoes without trying them on first. Fortunately I have a simple solution for you! Here's what you do, find a shoe store where they sale narrow widths Briks, go and try them on and see how they fit. If they fit drive home as fast (safely) as you can, turn on your computer, come to our site and order yourself a brand new pair of Briks at a great price! Have a good one!
