    I wear Birkenstock clogs in narrow and they are very comfortable and have worn well. I ordered these sandals and they were too wide for my foot, in the heel so I returned them.

    Ankle strap and sole rigidity combined make those sandals uncomfortable to wear, a novelty for Birkenstock. I have three pairs of sandals without the strap, (I also have regular shoes and boots by Birkenstock) all very comfortable.

    If you have large feet the ankle strap may be too short. It only just fit me and I'm not a big person. However the color is groovy..the purple is more of a magenta than in the photo. Be aware that Birkesntock shops cannot repair the EVA sole, but I find it more comfy than the black soles and at they don't seem to wear nearly as fast.

    This is my first pair of B's. I ordered the 1/2 size down as recommended in a narrow- if you have long toes I'd say go for your regular size. The footbed will take some getting used to as I have low arches. I hope to be in love with them in time to order the other colors before my size is sold out!
