Birkenstock Davos Felt Clogs (For Women)

This is a very plain Birkenstock shoe and that was okay, but the tongue was too long and made the shoe very uncomfortable. Had to send it back. Didn't like the felt feel either.

Wear to school everyday!

I have a pair of Birkenstock Boston clogs that are ready to fall apart, so I bought these as a replacement. The reviews here helped with sizing; I bought a size smaller than usual and got a great fit. The main problem with the Davos is their homeliness. They are clunky and plain even for Birkenstocks. But since I wear the clogs around the house like slippers, it doesn't matter all that much.

I have a serious Orthopaedic Foot Problem. These shoes have served me Very well. I call them my Porcupine shoes as they have White Fibers throughout.

bought these for my young son who complains that his feet hurt; he wears skate shoes that have surprisingly little support; he loves these as an alternative- and they look funky as well

I bought these to wear as slippers to replace another pair of felted slippers with cork & rubber soles. Unfortunately, the sizing seems correct only if I wear heavy socks. They will be ok for winter wear, but feel sloppy on my feet when barefoot. I love my Arizona birkenstocks, which are labeled with the same size and width, but the Arizonas are physically smaller when I hold the two together.

I wish they were leather. They are very comfortable

I was looking for a pair of house shoes with good support and these would have been okay except for they looked so manly.

I had a pair of Oklahomas made of this same material (they wore out). I got this pair instead hoping they'd be the same. However, even though they fit just fine, they crumple up and where your ankle bends. I'd suspect over time that this crumple would become part of the way the shoe looks. Overall, I did not care for this style - too masculine is my impression. They might be just great for a man I would think if they don't end up crumpling up at the ankle permanently. I had to return these unfortunately. They just weren't what I was hoping they would be.
