Birkenstock Ibiza Sandals (For Women)

I LOVE Birkenstock sandals but these really won't stay on my feet. I usually wear the Arizona style, and will have to go back to those, since these were darn cute, but simply won't stay on.

I love Birks, but this pair didn't do it for me. The strap higher up on the foot just hit my foot in the wrong place and irritated with each step I took. They are cute, but there's no point in wearing Birks that aren't comfy!

Wear 'em every day for nearly every purpose.

I was disappointed in my first Birkenstock attempt as I'd tried on a friend's that were way too big for me and they felt really comfortable. I don't know why, but the inner sole on these felt hard as a rock and the bottom like a slab of wood with no give. I sent them back.

I wear them shopping, around the house, casual dining. I love the molded cork beds with the great arch support. I've worn Birkenstocks for many years & love the comfort they give to my feet.

My podiatrist recommended Birkenstocks since I insisted on wearing sandals for the summer. He was correct. These shoes are so comfortable that after purchasing one pair, I purchased two more. They feel terrific on my feet.

I love the sandals but the top straps hurts my feet. I'm hoping the leather will soften in time if I can stand to break them in.

First time around I got a size too big (but followed the recommended sizing chart). However, I easily shipped them back and got a size that's perfect and haven't stopped wearing them since I got them!

Although they run just a bit large, the cork soles are still a dream of comfort and support. The arch in these sandals is of the traditional Birkenstock type and quality and comfort. While I prefer a style with an additional strap over the instep which helps keep the shoes stable on slender feet like mine, others may like the loose fit of this style. The drawback to this sandal is that the leather straps are quite stiff and, at present, I can't wear them barefoot without chafing. However, with socks they are comfortable enough, though again somewhat loose in fit. This style would probably be best for a wide foot.
