Birkenstock Madrid Sandals (For Women)

This is my second pair of hot pink Madrids. Love the combo of comfort and style with a little zing. I live in L.A. and so can wear them from May through October (w/o sox!) They are wonderful everyday shoes for the casual life. My only complaint is that the cork is not very water resistant. Don't get these shoes wet!.

I USED AN EMERY BOARD TO SAND OFF SOME ROUGH SPOTS AFTER I FIRST PUT THEM ON. IT DID THE TRICK AND HAVE COMFORTABLY WALKED LOTS OF D.C. SIDEWALKS AND HAVE COMFORTABLY WALKED LOTS OF GRASSY HILLS WITH MY ITALLIAN GREYHOUND

The yellow is gorgeous, and Birkies always have good construction and good arch support. They do take a little breaking in, and because there is just one strap on this style, they are a little loose, but not so that they flap. I feel very special when I wear them.

I love Birkenstocks and these are great for the price at STP. I bought these to replace an over-worn Arizona style, to wear mostly around the house. The foot bed is every bit as comfortable as other Birk styles, which are what my high arches need. But I don't think I'll buy another pair or would ever pay full price. The single strap of this style is positioned close enough to the toes that they feel like flip flops, sound like them too. So they just don't feel as secure as other Birks I've worn. They move around more as I walk. Now, my stride is not even because I have MS and one of my feet flips out to the side. But I can tell I'm going to have to tighten that buckle before the other. I've never had to do that before.

I love them..I wear them constantly. My other birkies are sitting here, these take precedent...they are so stylish and very comfortable.

I love these sandals. The price was unbelievable and I wear them everywhere...I have received complements on them on numerous occasions.

These were a birthday present for the wife. She put them on right away and we walked for two miles without a complaint. She loves them, the construction is solid and they are very comfortable and stylish.

i have always love birkenstock and love that they are really cheap over here. i don't have preference of style because i love birkenstock footbed. even my 4 year old is asking for a pair...
