    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I own three other pairs of Rosemeade Birkenstocks, all the same size. This pair (black smooth leather) arrived with a bend in the sole. The sole bends upward at the point where the toes join the foot. Also, the arch support is slightly less than in my other pairs. I love all my others, which are suede.
