These are a great boot for wading flats in saltwater and just as good for wading trout streams. I used them for a week in Belize on permit flats and they were on my feet for 9 hours a day. The built in gator kept out the sand. Last week I spent a week trout fishing in Colorado and they were great for long days of stream fishing which involve a lot of walking. They are comfortable and provide good support.

Comfortable with stocking foot waders.I will need to replace stretchy lacings with real bootlaces to use more often.Ordered to use on Prince of Wales Island ,Ak.For hunt/fish trip.Wouldn't trek thru a lot of muskeg 'till I replaced "shoestrings".Were about a third off the big C's price on same merchandise.

I only used the shoes once when I went hiking. I really didn't know how they would work. Now I get it. I really like not hiking in wet shoes. It was alittle hard getting the velcore jsut right. but they worked well and I finished hiking they rest of the day in them. I tell everybody about them.

Bought these to keep out the sand and gravel when fishing the Black River in AZ. Only had to empty them out once after 6 hours of fishing and hiking. Approximately 4 miles. The deepest muck I stepped in was ~3 inches. They would have worked better if the tops fit skinny ankles.

Well after wearing a different brand that i paid way to much for i was worried about buying these because there so much cheaper. And my other ones were like NASA moon boots. But the first time i put these on it was like putting on a new pair of nike's. My first day out surf fishing these boots felt good in the surf off the beach and i was suprised how much traction i had on the rocks. So far these are great.

Great for wading and walking on slippery rocks while fly fishing or rafting. The extra protection from gravel or small rocks getting into the boots, are terrific. Little uncomfortable putting on, but worth its price when wading.

The photo looks like a low cut shoe with a separate liner. Actually, it is a shoe with a sewn-in gravel guard. The gravel guard has a vertical velcro closure that is hard to keep open while putting the shoes on. I think the sole with both felt and rubber may be the answer to BWCA portages. I'll likely cut the gravel guards off. They fit my 5E foot ok by ordering one size up.

i was looking for a light weight wading shoe and i think this will do just fine. the shoe is comfortable but snug when used with waders. i would recommend going a size up if using with waders.
