    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I used these skins to ski nordic style up to backcountry mountain huts in Colorado. The skins were easy to go on, stayed on, and helped me climb over 2,500 vertical feet with a pack. I couldn't believe how steep portions of the ascent were and these skins just helped me "climb baby climb."

    These skins perform as expected. I have now owned the BD clipfix and STS skins. I recommend you spend a little more and get the STS due to it's more bomb proof rear attachment, and ease of adjustability if you use your skins on more than one pare of ski's
