Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by aprilsnow14 from Utah on Thursday, October 16, 2014I am about 5"3 and the size small fits me well. I have not used it for the overnight backpacking yet but I am sure this backpack could do it depending on how big the tent package will be. I used it for a day hike and felt happy about it.
Reviewed by JM10 from DE on Thursday, April 3, 2014Lightweight pack with a well designed internal frame that can comfortably support heavier loads
Reviewed by Artfav from Washington and Costa Rica on Wednesday, February 12, 2014I might be reviewing too early, but so far it is working well. I am on day 4 in central America with it, and it is definitely comfortable and doing the job. I would like a couple of smaller compartments, it only has the one on top.
Reviewed by COFlyingFish from Denver on Tuesday, February 11, 2014Great pack with all the features I need. I am 6'1" with a pretty average size torso for that ht and the Large size frame fits me great. Have used it as an overnight pack in the backcountry, a commuting pack on my bike and a ski pack...no complaints thus far.
Reviewed by Shaun from Washington on Sunday, November 10, 2013Great size for my 13 year old for day and extended pack trips.
Question & Answer
“Where is the compartment to place the bladder and where is the exit port where the hose comes out.
I have a 2 liter bladder and this knapsack just arrived. I am an avid hiker but I can't seem to figure out this pack.
The hydration port is the hole at the top of the bag, just below the carry handle. The bladder rest at the top of the main compartment. Please view the detail photos that have been added to this item.
“I noticed different sizes. What size is appropriate for a) my son 11 year old 5FT / 90 lbs b) myself 5 FT 7 IN / 160 Lb”
You need to measure your torso length. This guide will show you how. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/lp2/backpack-guide/
