I've had a pair of BD Carbon Probe poles for about 10 yrs now and they are worn but still function great. Wouldn't use them as a probe unless there wasn't another option, besides I carry a probe backcountry skiing. But they are light, adjustable and the flick-lock is the best. Bought these for my wife and she love them. At about $48 from STP they were a great buy. The new design isn't as light as my original ones, but the wrist straps are better. Only problem I had was shipping, STP send some LEKI poles instead, but CS took care of that mistake.
