these are exactly as diescribed and excellent for smaller framed people like my wife. I also tried them but at 5'10" I had to extend them close to thier limit. they worked great but I worry they might bend in tough situation so getting a standard size for myself. I'll but the same brand and type. They should last a long time.

I was able to get these poles for considerably less than the full retail price using a combination of discount codes and the base discount price. Buyers should be aware that they do not come with the rubber tips, but given how many cheap quality hiking poles I have gone through, I have plenty of those to spare! These have compression locks rather than twist and locks, so I am hoping they will last longer. Material is high quality and I like the oval rather than circular shafts, grips and straps are comfortable. Anti-shock feature seems a little stiff compared to my last poles, but do not see this as a problem. I like how the little basket is fused to the base - this is the first pair that I have not lost the basket on the first hike. Worth a go!

I bought for my friend.
It looks very stable and it's easy to use with FlickLock.
Just a little bit heavy. my Leki is much lighter. anyway this one has antishork, additonal no slip form and Elliptic shape. If them makes it heavier I would accept.
Additional, general opinion.
I like SIERRA's video for cloth. It helps a lot for buying cloth online.
