Purchased two and after a few days of use went back for two more. Like the unit.

Having looked over the various options for headlamps, I settled on this one due to the price point, candlepower, and brand (have had great luck with BD equipment in the past). This has proven to be exactly what I anticipated: A powerful headlamp with just enough options (three settings, angled pivot) and no bells or whistles. It's extremely lightweight, so much so that you can forget you're wearing it if over a hat. The button operating the lamp is large and positive, easy to switch on and off even with gloves (a gripe of mine with many other lamps). The batteries seem to last a long time--still haven't used up the first set, even after extensive work in my attic and basement. And many bumps and knocks have failed to damage the bulbs or function. All in all, this is a solid value and functional little workhorse of a headlamp.

Not sure what the best choice for a light would be so I tried this one because of the use of common batteries. I was planning to use this for my backpack but now use it in my HVAC business since it is small and very bright in attics. A great choice, very bright and batteries last a long time and not to large. I will order more.

Ordered this for son-in-law for his birthday. He likes to hunt and often helps with home repairs. He was very glad to receive this.

I have a variety of camping lights, but this is the first that not only has a low, high and strobe, it also can dim in the low and high settings. Great to light adjust to your needs and of course to conserve battery life.

Small, light, and adjustable. If you hold the button down when it's on, it dims the light. The instructions say you can go over 100 hours on a set of batteries if you dim it down (and like 50 hours on full brightness). It would be perfect for backpacking.

Great variety of settings. Uber comfy. I've used this head lamp around the house and while night skiing. It is a bit difficult to work the battery closure.

I have bought 3 of these. The first one works great. The second one lasted on use and the switch broke. They replaced it and we haven't used the replacement yet. Hopefully the second was an anomaly.
