“Great backcountry pack”

“This pack is perfect for the avid backcountry skier or snowboarder. The extra compartment for a shovel and probe means there's a lot more room in the main compartment. It fits great and is pretty light, even with the integrated Avalung. My only concern is that the Avalung tube seems a bit on the weaker side; the tube is sort of like a big "bendable straw" and repeated expanding and collapsing of the tube may create weak points and eventually breaks - not a good thing. Regardless, as long as the tube is in the protective sleeve when not in use it should be find. The protective sleeve can be a little funky to zip up when putting the Avalung mouthpiece away. Overall it's still an awesome pack and the Avalung is a little extra piece of mind. Every avid backcountry user should have one.”
