“This is all around the best Alpine Ski glove I've ever owned. I just bought 3 more pair even though my first pair, 3 years old, is still in great shape. I never want to be without this glove. It is NOT for skiing in very cold conditions (below 10 -15 degrees f.) but for all other conditions it is perfect. Nice tight fit, windproof, waterproof. I average almost 100 days skiing per season on Mt Hood in Oregon. We average more than 500 inches of snow per season and the wind is frequently in the 25MPH gusting to 40's with typical temps between 15 and 35 degrees. I have never gotten cold fingers. In fact I often take the gloves off while riding the lifts to avoid sweating them up and making them wet inside. The gloves have a great long gauntlet that is easy to tighten to keep powder out (and we get a LOT of powder - more than 50 days of knee deep or more pow this season). The gloves are light enough to also work well as a back country touring tele glove or XC glove in cold conditions or for the more casual tourer - but are far to warm for me to ski xc in since I stride or skate at race pace so wear only thin unlined gloves for that. The gloves also found duty this year for my outdoor snowblowing chores.”
