“I use these gloves for ice climbing-- they are not ultra warm, but they are a good compromise between warmth and the dexterity needed for climbing (warmer gloves are too bulky for climbing). They are not warm enough for skiing for me (I have very cold hands). I would say they are at least average in terms of durability-- I go through at least one pair a season, but I climb a lot, and climbing is tough wear on gloves. Wish they were just a little more waterproof.”
