I tried on just about every glove out there before purchasing these. I also read dozens of ski forum threads to see what the prevailing opinion is regarding the best ski glove available. The BD Guide glove was in the top 3 in just about every discussion I could find and has top reviews everywhere. The workmanship is excellent and they will last a very long time. Removable liner and Gore-Tex were also key factors for me in my decision. Black Diamond is a wonderful company with a great track record for both superior products and customer service. Amazing deal to get these for 60% off of retail and the orange color looks fantastic.

Great price for BD gloves, making a leap from mittens so hope these do the trick.
And hey, I like the orange flame color.

Holding back a star as haven't been able to work them yet in winter.

Sizing guide says medium for me, but I'd swap for a large if it was available.
Still ok to wear so not giving these tough gloves up!

I ordered these gloves for my dad who is a ski patrol, but doesn't like to spend for nicer things. These appear to be the ultimate glove. Its summer so no feedback of on hill performance but expect him to be very pleased. Sizing seemed accurate.

As a professional ski patroller in the Pacific NW I do not get to choose to stay in the lodge or ski when the weather gets bad. These gloves allow me to work comfortably in the very worst conditions.
