Black Diamond Equipment Iris Rock Climbing Harness (For Women)

Good harness. Seems solidly built as I would expect from BD. Not as comfortable as I expected for hanging belays/rappels. This is mostly due to the fact that the legs are too large (and are not adjustable). This is designed for women and so explains the smaller waist to larger leg ratio so keep this in mind if you are a guy. Solid all-round.

My second harness. Perfect, simple, inexpensive.

The fixed leg straps are great. It is really comfortable for climbing, and I like the stiff gear loops. However, the leg straps dig into my inner legs when holding someone else's weight on belay. Other than that, a really nice harness.

I use it for indoor rock climbing and bouldering. I used to be an avid climber, took some years off and am now getting back into it all. It's comfortable, a smidge smaller than expected. The upward loops don't bother me,if anything I like it more because it keeps whatever is attached a little further from your body.

I received a different color than picture (grey) but it works well . the legs are a little tight but they still fit and work just fine

Love the padding, good padding but low profile. Love the upturned gear loops, the newest fixed gear loops that alot of manufacturers are doing often dig into my hips and when I highstep actually flips the carabiner upside down which majorly slows clipping. I ordered based on my pant size, waist i had to cinch down all the way, leg loops were perfect. One size smaller fit in waist but too tight in thighs.

Bought this for my girlfriend, its great. The gear loops standing up is weird, but a good idea. They are super easy to find without looking when putting gear back. Great chalk-bag loop in the back too (standard on all black diamond). The fixed leg loops are nice too, they have some flex so they are just barely snug, she does not even notice them until her descent usually. I actually had a guy friend pick up a larger size after trying hers when he forgot his at the gym.

I just started climbing in the rock gym, so I'm by no means an expert on harnesses, but this one's comfortable and fits well. The loops that face up are a little weird, but definately don't bother me.

Fits like a glove! And for this price, you can't go wrong. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made recently.
