    Turns Easily
    Cons:
    Don’t' Float Well
    Best Uses:
    Groomed Trails, Icy Conditions, Telemarking
    Describe Yourself:

    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
These skis work great on the groomed runs, and east coast ice. Took them into some Utah Powder, and they were pretty bad (but that could also be attributed to my skill level). Stick to groomed runs on the east or west coast, or an inch or two of powder and they carve like a champ.

This is a great East Coast tele ski, but not for the faint of heart or beginner. They are STIFF and will ski you right off the hill if you don't stay on top of them. They hold an edge on anything and turn on a dime. Great for unpredictable conditions in tight trees and chuttes. They are not horrible in powder, at least compared to tele skis of a few years ago. A great all around ski for variable snow.

[...] I gambled on these skis and was reasonably satisfied but I know now that without stiffness numbers I will have to try them out in a ski shop to find out how stiff they really are.

Have tried these on resort steeps, moguls, powder, ice and groomed. I am alpine skiing with tele set up. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs. 182 cm is a BIT long, but next size down would be too short. They are a bit of work in powder--tips float well but waist too narrow. A bit of work in moguls--due to length and stiff tip. They really come alive with great hold zooming and carving on groomers. At [$]a great deal.
