5.0 out of 5 stars. BD makes the best climbing packsReviewed by Ella from Boulder, CO on Saturday, February 8, 2014I got this pack to replace a worn out BD Shadow 55 (best climbing pack I've ever owned) and so far I'm impressed. This is made specifically for ice climbing but I'll use it for summer trad as well. It is well designed and seems comfortable. It seems like it will be as durable as my Shadow, and that lasted me 6 years. On a side note, it does have a haul loop on the pack but don't ever haul your pack unless you want to destroy it prematurely.

5.0 out of 5 stars. mission 50Reviewed by snarg from montana on Friday, November 1, 2013Used a week so far for some rock and ice treks. All in all this pack functions quite well. I have had a Dana Designs Bomb and an Osprey in similar sizes. For the price and weight I think this is the best pack I have ever purchased. All the frills are nice. Complaints: limited adjustability and the sternum strap that is designed to be removable (for hauling?) comes detatched on its own a bit too easy. I haven't used the rope keeper, but my two friends have both broke theirs.
